Panthers' Claudin Cherelus: Won't play Sunday
Cherelus (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Colts, Steve Reed of The Associated Press reports.
The 24-year-old linebacker out of Alcorn State has appeared in all of Carolina's last six games, but he now seems to be dealing with a knee injury that will hold him out of Sunday's contest. Cherelus has played strictly on special teams for the Panthers this year, failing to record a stat.

Panthers' Claudin Cherelus: Heads to IR
Cherelus (knee) was placed on injured reserve Friday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Cherelus missed the entire week of practice with a knee issue, and he's since been placed on IR. It's unclear when the 24-year-old linebacker suffered this injury, but he had been one of Carolina's top special-teamers this year, appearing in the team's last six games.
