The speedy wideout's potential return comes at a good time for Cleveland, with receiver Amari Cooper in concussion protocol and strong-armed Joe Flacco potentially starting at quarterback. Goodwin missed the past four games while in the protocol, and he's unlikely to handle a typical starter's workload even if he does make it back for Sunday's matchup with Jacksonville.

Goodwin (concussion) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Rams, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
The 33-year-old wide receiver is in line to miss his fourth consecutive game Sunday, as he continues to recover from a concussion. Goodwin has appeared in eight games for the Browns this year, catching three of his 11 targets for 10 yards while playing 84 total snaps (all on offense). Goodwin moved up a spot on the depth chart after the Browns traded Donovan Peoples-Jones to the Lions on Tuesday, Camryn Justice of News 5 Cleveland reports.
The loss of Peoples-Jones doesn't open up many targets for others -- he had just 18 over seven games -- but he was on the field more than any other Cleveland wide receiver.
