Lions' Jason Cabinda: Will miss another game
Cabinda (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 5 contest versus Carolina.
Cabinda missed last Thursday's win over the Packers due to a knee injury, and he doesn't appear to be making much progress given that he logged a trio of DNPs this week. However, he did do some work on the side during practice, so there's a possibility he could return against the Buccaneers in Week 6. Tight end Darrell Daniels filled Cabinda's role at fullback and on special teams in Week 4 and will likely continue to do so this Sunday.

Lions' Jason Cabinda: Ruled out for Thursday
Cabinda (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Panthers, Colton Pouncy of The Athletic reports.
Cabinda first popped up on the injury report earlier this week and is now officially listed as out for Thursday's matchup. It remains to be seen how Detroit will replace the 27-year-old, as he has played on both offense and special teams through three games and there are currently no other fullbacks on the roster.

Cabinda (knee) is listed as active Sunday in Green Bay.
Cabinda didn't practice Wednesday, but his ability to manage some reps both Thursday and Friday seemingly was enough for him to be available at fullback for the Lions. In his seven appearances this season, he has a four-yard carry and a five-yard catch (on four targets) while also playing a good amount on special teams.

If Cabinda isn't available for the regular-season finale, the Lions will be playing the game without a true fullback.
