Lions' Emmanuel Moseley: Making progress in recovery
Moseley (knee) will begin walking on an anti-gravity treadmill Wednesday, as he continues to recover from a torn ACL suffered in Week 5 against the Panthers, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Moseley is four weeks removed from surgery to repair his ACL and is ahead of schedule compared to his 2022 tear. Birkett notes that the Tennessee product is in great spirits despite the devastating injury. Although he will be unable to return this season, Moseley should be ready to return at some point in 2024.

Lions' Emmanuel Moseley: Moved to IR
The Lions placed Moseley (knee) on injured reserve Saturday.
Moseley tore his right ACL on Sunday against the Panthers in what was his first game since tearing his left ACL in Week 5 last season. He'll now sit out for the rest of the season and could miss the start of the 2024 season as well. Backup corners Chase Lucas, Steven Gilmore and Khalil Dorsey (illness) haven't played a single defensive snap between them so far this season, but that could change now that Moseley is lost for the year.

Moseley tore his right ACL in Sunday's win over the Panthers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Moseley was making his season debut after he was able to fully recover from a torn left ACL suffered last season. It's a difficult blow for the Tennessee product, who will now miss the remainder of the year and potentially a portion of next season, considering the likely recovery time.

Moseley (knee) has been ruled out from returning to Sunday's game against New England.
Moseley appeared to hurt his right knee while in pass coverage during the first half and won't be able to return. He was making his 2023 debut Sunday after suffering a torn ACL and MCL in his left knee in Week 5 last year. Jerry Jacobs played a near every-down role with Moseley on injured reserve over the first four weeks and should continue to do so Sunday and potentially beyond.

The cornerback was making his season debut after recovering from an ACL tear and a hamstring injury. Moseley's ACL tear was on his left knee, but it was his right one being examined Sunday. The sixth-year pro suffered the torn ACL last season with the 49ers and then signed a one-year deal with the Lions in the offseason.

Moseley (knee) practiced in full Friday and is questionable for Sunday's Week 5 contest at home against the Panthers.
Moseley logged a trio of limited practices Week 4 but didn't play in a Thursday contest against the Packers. He began this week with another pair of limited sessions before he was able to progress to full practice participation Friday. Moseley thus seems to have a good chance to play Sunday against Carolina, which would be his first game action since he tore the ACL and MCL in his left knee in Week 5 last year.

Moseley (knee) was listed as a limited participant on Detroit's practice estimate Wednesday.
Moseley was estimated as a limited participant at this time before the Lions' contest at Green Bay in Week 4, too, so it's too early to say for sure that he'll be ready to play in Week 5. He will still probably have to practice in full Thursday or Friday to shed his injury designation before Sunday.
