It might be time to consider Conklin a low-end starter in all leagues. His first season with the Jets featured 58 catches for 552 yards and three touchdowns on 87 targets, looking a lot like his final season in Minnesota when he had 61 catches for 593 yards and three touchdowns on 87 targets. That gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect in 2023, but the biggest difference is the addition of Aaron Rodgers in New York, and hopefully the quarterback upgrade can take Conklin to new heights. Now, the Jets do have a crowded receiving corps with Garrett Wilson, Allen Lazard, Corey Davis, Mecole Hardman and Randall Cobb, and Conklin also has to compete with fellow tight end C.J. Uzomah for targets. But Conklin is worth drafting as a low-end starter in deeper leagues with a late-round pick and is definitely someone to consider in tight-end premium formats.
Conklin (hamstring) remained limited at practice Thursday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Following back-to-back capped sessions to start the week, Conklin may need to practice fully Friday in order to avoid carrying an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Texans. In the Jets' 13-8 loss to the Falcons in Week 13, Conklin logged a team-high nine targets but hauled in only three of them for 35 yards.
I would move Conklin to the top priority if Zach Wilson is announced as the Week 14 starter. It's an outstanding matchup and Conklin has shown low-end starter potential with Wilson in the past.

Conklin has scored at least 9.8 PPR points in two of his past three games, and he has 17 targets in his past three outings. Given the matchup and his recent level of production, Conklin is worth using as a low-end starter in deeper leagues as a quality bye-week replacement.
Conklin has 17 targets over the last three weeks, Zach Wilson is looking better and the Denver Broncos have arguably the worst defense in the NFL. That's not quite enough to make Conklin a top-12 tight end, but it does make him a good bye-week replacement and a start over Tyler Higbee if Cooper Kupp is back.
