  • Rams' Lucas Havrisik: Could be replaced by veteran

Havrisik could lose his job as the Rams' top kicker Sunday against the Ravens, as the team is considering elevating veteran Mason Crosby, whom they signed to their practice squad Wednesday, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports. Havrisik was chosen to replace Brett Maher as Los Angeles' kicker beginning in Week 8, but he's largely struggled in the role, going just 7-for-10 on field-goal tries, with two of the three misses coming from inside 50 yards. Consequently, Crosby was added to the practice squad and is now under consideration to replace Havrisik as the team's kicker for Week 14. Nonetheless, head coach Sean McVay said Wednesday that the Rams won't yet be cutting Havrisik, so the team may be setting up a competition between Crosby and Havrisik before settling on a permanent option.

  • Rams' Lucas Havrisik: Misses another field goal

Havrisik connected on one of two field-goal attempts and made all four of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 36-19 victory against the Browns. For the third time in four games, Havrisik missed a field goal, a 43-yard attempt that went wide right. While he did nail a 44-yard attempt and was perfect on PATs, Havrisik now sits at a 70 percent success rate on field goals after five games; Brett Maher was released after seven games with a 74 percent success rate. Opportunities to improve on his string of shaky performances may be hard to come by in Week 14 against a well-rested and talented Ravens defense.

  • Rams' Lucas Havrisik: Hits go-ahead FG in victory

Havrisik connected on a 22-yard field goal and made both of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 17-16 victory against the Seahawks. The young kicker wasn't asked to do much through most of the game, as the Rams struggled to produce on offense against Seattle. However, Havrisik was called upon late to hit a chip-shot field goal, and his 22-yard make provided what turned out to be the game-winning points after Seattle kicker Jason Myers missed a 55-yard attempt with eight seconds left. Up next for Havrisik is a Week 12 showdown in Arizona against Kyler Murray and the Cardinals.

  • Rams' Lucas Havrisik: Records first miss of career

Havrisik connected on one of two field-goal attempts during Sunday's 20-3 loss to the Packers. On a misty day at Lambeau Field, the Rams offense as a whole sputtered with Brett Rypien at the helm, leaving Havrisik with few opportunities to produce. While he did manage to drill a 52-yard attempt in the second quarter, he pushed a 49-yard try wide right in the third quarter. Havrisik will likely get a pass for the miss with the weather conditions working against him, and he has the Rams' bye in Week 10 to look forward to before facing off against the Seahawks at home in Week 11.

  • Rams' Lucas Havrisik: Makes both field-goal tries

Havrisik connected on both of his field-goal attempts during Sunday's 43-20 loss to the Cowboys. So far, so good for the newly minted Rams kicker, who made field goals from 33 and 47 yards during the contest. Havrisik, who replaced Brett Maher after the Rams released him on Tuesday, never got to attempt a PAT as the Rams went for two after both of their touchdowns, but coach Sean McVay will likely stand pat with the former Arizona Wildcat for Los Angeles' Week 9 contest with Green Bay.

  • Rams' Lucas Havrisik: Los Angeles' new kicker

The Rams plan to sign Havrisik off the Browns' practice squad Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Los Angeles parted ways with kicker Brett Maher after he missed two field goals and one extra point during Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Steelers, and the team wasted no time finding his replacement. Since the Rams are planning on signing Havrisik off Cleveland's practice squad, he'll end up on the team's active roster, per Cameron DaSilva of USA Sports Today. Havrisik went undrafted in 2022 out of Arizona, and he has yet to appear in an NFL game.
