Jaguars' C.J. Beathard: Still limited Thursday
Beathard (left shoulder) remained limited at practice Thursday.
Meanwhile, Jacksonville's franchise QB Trevor Lawrence, who is dealing with a high-ankle sprain, also was limited Thursday after missing Wednesday's session. Friday's injury report will add further context with regard to the duo's status for Sunday's game against the Browns, but Lawrence's ability to practice Thursday has brightened the prospects of him potentially being able to play this weekend.

Jaguars' Travis Etienne: Maintains limited practice activity
Etienne (ribs) was a limited practice participant Thursday.
Etienne doesn't appear to be any worse for the wear coming out of Monday's 34-31 overtime loss to the Bengals, despite being listed as questionable with the rib issue leading up to the contest before handling 15 touches (11 carries, four receptions) and accounting for 79 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown over his 43 snaps. The Jaguars have put a cap on Etienne's practice reps for both of their first two Week 14 practices, but there's been no indication that his restrictions are the result of any setback. He may still carry a designation into this weekend's game in Cleveland if he remains a limited participant in Friday's practice, but Etienne is still expected to be ready to lead the Jacksonville backfield come Sunday.

Jaguars' Zay Jones: Another limited session
Jones (knee) remained limited at practice Thursday.
Jones also had a cap on his reps Wednesday, so he'll probably need to practice fully Friday in order to avoid an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Browns. If Jones is available this weekend, he could be busy, with fellow WR Christian Kirk sidelined by a core muscle injury.

Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Returns to limited practice
Lawrence (ankle) was limited at practice Thursday.
Lawrence is dealing with a high right-ankle sprain, but after missing Wednesday's session, the QB's ability to practice a day later -- albeit capped -- offers hope that he could play through the issue this weekend against the Browns. Unless Lawrence is able to practice fully Friday, however, he figures to approach Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET contest with an injury designation.

Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Takes part in practice
Lawrence (ankle) was spotted on the field for practice Thursday, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
Per DiRocco, Lawrence noted Wednesday that his right ankle felt much better than he anticipated it would two days after suffering a right high-ankle sprain in Monday's overtime loss to the Bengals. While the quarterback didn't appear to take part in every drill Thursday, he warmed up with his teammates and did some throwing. The Jaguars' second Week 14 injury report will be issued later Thursday and clarify the extent of Lawrence's participation.

Jaguars' Christian Braswell: Nearing return
Braswell (hamstring) was designated to return from IR on Thursday, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Braswell has been on IR since Oct. 14 and hasn't played since Week 4 against the Falcons. He'll now have 21 days to practice with the team and get up to speed before needing to be moved back to the 53-man roster. When healthy, the rookie corner only played on special teams, but depending on how soon he returns, he could step into a larger role with Tre Herndon in concussion protocols and Tyson Campbell dealing with a quadriceps injury.
