Top Raheem Mostert News

  • Dolphins' Raheem Mostert: Gets maintenance day Thursday

    Mostert (knee/rest) was a non-participant in Thursday's practice.

Along with Mostert, wide receiver Tyreek Hill (ankle) and offensive tackle Kendall Lamm (back) had "vet rest" attributed to their absences from practice along with their listed injuries, so it's safe to conclude that all three were mainly held out for maintenance purposes more so than because of any concern about their health. Mostert has been a fixture on Miami injury reports this season but has yet to miss a game, and he's logged more than 50 percent of the offensive snaps in all but two of his 12 appearances. He took on a season-low 39 percent share in this past weekend's 45-15 win over the Commanders, though that may have largely been a byproduct of Miami racing out to a 24-point halftime lead.

  • Dolphins' Raheem Mostert: Finds end zone on quiet day

Mostert rushed 11 times for 43 yards and a touchdown and brought in his only target for eight yards in the Dolphins' 45-15 win over the Commanders on Sunday.

As expected, the Dolphins' passing game took center stage Sunday in a matchup that lined up particularly well on paper, but Mostert was able to salvage an otherwise non-descript day with a one-yard scoring plunge late in the first half. Mostert was eventually outgained by returning rookie De'Von Achane, who got plenty of garbage-time opportunity, but it appears the former remains the top early-down option in Miami's backfield heading into a Week 14 home matchup against a tough Titans run defense on Monday night, Dec. 11.

  • Dolphins' Raheem Mostert: Good to go

Mostert (ankle/knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at the Commanders, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Mostert played through the same injury last week en route to a 20-89-2 rushing line and then managed limited practices this Thursday and Friday. The real threat to his value is the return of De'Von Achane (knee), who was a full participant Friday and also enters Sunday without an injury designation. Mostert is still worth starting in most leagues, as he was productive with Achane in the lineup earlier this season and is facing a Washington defense that ranks 20th in fantasy points allowed to RBs and 23rd in YPC allowed (4.3) to the position.
