Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Put on IR
The Packers placed Wilson (shoulder) on injured reserve Wednesday.
Wilson is now out for at least four games after injuring his shoulder during Sunday's win over the Chargers. Aaron Jones (knee) also left the game early and may now sit out Week 12 against Detroit, potentially leaving AJ Dillon (groin), Patrick Taylor and James Robinson as the Packers' backfield options. Even Dillon is banged up; he was listed as a limited practice participant Monday and Tuesday.

Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Listed as DNP again
Wilson (shoulder) was a non-participant on Tuesday's practice estimate.
Wilson's absence marked his second straight day being listed as sidelined while nursing a shoulder issue. With Aaron Jones (knee) doubtful and AJ Dillon (groin) limited, Wilson could be in line for an extended role in the backfield should he be healthy enough to suit up Thursday.

Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Part of banged-up RB crew
Wilson (shoulder) was listed as a non-participant on Green Bay's practice estimate Monday.
Wilson is dealing with a shoulder injury that he suffered during the team's win against the Chargers on Sunday. With Aaron Jones (knee) also estimated as a non-participant and AJ Dillon (groin) listed as limited, the Packers signed Patrick Taylor to the active roster and James Robinson to their practice squad Monday in order to bolster their shorthanded backfield.

Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Ruled out Sunday
Wilson (shoulder) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's matchup versus the Chargers, Pete Dougherty of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
Wilson injured his shoulder in the second quarter of Sunday's contest and will now miss the rest of the matchup. With Aaron Jones (knee) also ruled out, AJ Dillon is now the only healthy running back the Packers have left in the game.

Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Breaks long run late in win
Wilson had four carries for 43 yards in Sunday's 20-3 victory over the Rams.
A 31-yard burst late in the contest gave Wilson's YPC mark a healthy boost, but he did not see a carry until the game's final drive and was easily outpaced in the snap count department by both Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon. It's not out of the question that Wilson steals some snaps from Dillon over the remainder of the season, but heading into Week 10 he remains the clear third option on the depth chart.

Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Ends up with four touches
Wilson had two carries for 19 yards and two receptions for eight yards in Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Broncos.
The Packers elected to manage the snaps of top running back Aaron Jones, and while AJ Dillon wound up being the busiest Packers ball carrier on the day, Wilson did wind up with a career-high four touches. Wilson was effective Week 7, but he remains the third running back on the depth chart, and Green Bay could elect to give veteran practice-squad member James Robinson a look at some point.

Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Could see increase in usage
Wilson will operate as one of Green Bay's reserve options behind AJ Dillon on Monday night versus Las Vegas, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
With Aaron Jones (hamstring) inactive for the Packers' Week 5 matchup with the Raiders, Wilson will likely see an increase in usage. The running back has turned five carries into 11 yards this season and caught one pass for six yards while appearing in both of the contests Jones has previously missed. Wilson will likely operate as the third fiddle in Green Bay's backfield behind Dillon and Patrick Taylor on Monday Night Football.

Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Remains in bit role
Wilson had two carries for six yards and one reception for six yards in Sunday's 18-17 victory over the Saints.
Wilson saw work for the second time in as many weeks with top running back Aaron Jones (hamstring) unavailable, but he was still a distant third option in the backfield, as both AJ Dillon and Patrick Taylor easily outpaced the rookie in both touches and snaps played. The Packers liked Wilson enough to add him to the 53-man roster ahead of Taylor at the end of training camp, but the latter now needs to be added in order to play again, and Wilson could be removed in order to make space.

Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Makes professional debut
Wilson had three carries for five yards in Sunday's 25-24 loss to the Falcons.
Wilson suited up for a regular-season game for the first time, and after losing five yards on his first attempt he did at least rack up 10 yards on his next two totes. He finished second among Packers in carries, but he did not do much even with Aaron Jones (hamstring) out of action. Wilson could wind up being a healthy scratch again if Jones is able to return in Week 3.

Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Scratched for season opener
Wilson was ruled a healthy scratch for Sunday's season opener against Chicago.
Wilson earned a spot on Green Bay's 53-man roster after he had an impressive preseason campaign, including and NFL-high 223 rushing yards across three preseason contests. However, the undrafted rookie out of Fort Valley State won't get a chance to make his NFL debut Sunday, as Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon should still handle the vast majority of the Packers' carries. Patrick Taylor is also available at running back for Green Bay, though he should contribute almost entirely on special teams and as a blocker on third downs.

Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Gets spot on 53-man
Wilson is one of three undrafted rookies on Green Bay's initial 53-man roster, Wes Hodkiewicz of packers.com reports.
The Packers have one of the youngest rosters in the league, though the RB room is in sturdy, veteran hands with Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon ahead of Wilson on the depth chart. Wilson was the NFL's leading rusher this preseason with 223 yards on the ground, proving not to be overmatched after a college career at Division II Fort Valley State. He isn't likely to get many snaps on offense, if any, when the Bears host the Packers in Week 1.

Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Another busy appearance
Wilson had 17 carries for 49 yards and two receptions for nine yards in Saturday's 19-15 preseason victory over the Seahawks.
Wilson racked up 17 touches in Green Bay's second exhibition contest, and he tallied 19 more in the finale. Wilson was the second running back into Saturday's game and wound up rushing for 223 yards over three preseason appearances. However, 80 of those came on one play and he averaged 3.9 YPC on his other 37 totes, so it remains to be seen if he did enough to sew up a spot on the roster for Week 1.

Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Earns extended look
Wilson had 15 carries for 63 yards and two receptions for 15 yards in Saturday's 21-17 preseason loss to the Patriots.
A 111-yard showing in the exhibition opener earned Wilson a long look in Saturday's contest, and he was effective once more. He remains in the mix for the third running back spot on the depth chart, but as things stand, he presumably sits somewhere between fourth and sixth in the pecking order.

Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Erupts for 111 yards
Wilson had six carries for 111 yards and two touchdowns in Friday's 36-19 preseason victory over the Bengals.
Wilson did not enter Friday's contest until the third quarter, but he made a major impact from then onward, racking up three carries of over 10 yards before taking his final tote of the evening 80 yards to the house. The rookie was something of an afterthought heading into Friday's contest, but he capitalized on his opportunity and is now seemingly in the mix for the third spot on the depth chart at his position.

The Broncos waived Wilson on Monday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.
The Broncos signed Wilson as an undrafted free agent, but he's been let go following the team's rookie minicamp. The 5-foot-10 running back finished his final season at Fort Valley State with 1,371 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns.
