Davis (groin/hip) is available for Thursday's game against the Pelicans, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports. Davis' trend of playing through probable tags continues. The big man has missed only one game on the campaign and has been the fifth-best player in nine-category formats so far.... See More ... See Less

Lakers' Anthony Davis: Tabbed probable
Davis (groin/hip) is listed as probable for Thursday's game against the Pelicans, Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times reports. Davis has continued to receive probable tags due to hip spasms and a left adductor injury. However, he's missed only one game on the season and has appeared in 14 straight contests -- including two back-to-back sets -- so fantasy managers should expect him to give it a go once again Thursday.... Lakers' Anthony Davis: Top rebounder in double-double game
Davis contributed 27 points (10-26 FG, 7-8 FT), 15 rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 39 minutes during Tuesday's 106-103 victory over Phoenix. Davis owned the glass for the Lakers, leading all players in rebounds while finishing second on the team in scoring en route to ending as the lone player with a double-double in a winning effort. Davis has recorded a double-double in 10 straight games and hauled in 15 or more boards on five occasions this year.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Good to go
Davis (groin/hip) is available for Tuesday's game against the Suns, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports. Davis has been carrying probable tags for weeks, so his availability Tuesday wasn't in serious jeopardy. He's likely to see his normal workload against the Suns.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Probable for Tuesday
Davis (groin/hip) is probable for Tuesday's game against the Suns, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports. Davis is unsurprisingly back on the injury report leading up to Tuesday's matchup, but he should be cleared to play closer to tipoff. He's coming off another impressive showing Saturday against the Rockets, scoring 27 points to go along with 14 rebounds, three assists and five blocks in 37 minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Dominates in victory
Davis registered 27 points (10-22 FG, 7-9 FT), 14 rebounds, three assists and five blocks in 37 minutes during Saturday's 107-97 victory over the Rockets. Davis extended his double-double streak to nine games Saturday. When Davis is healthy, there are few players who can contain him, and although he has some lingering hip pain, you wouldn't know it from his totals. Only Nikola Jokic sports a higher rebound average than Davis, who is averaging 12.5 boards per game.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Cleared to play
Davis (groin/hip) is available for Saturday's game against the Rockets, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNetreports. Davis has been playing through probable tags for weeks, but he certainly hasn't looked limited. In his most recent game versus the Thunder on Thursday, Davis poured in 31 points with 14 rebounds, two assists and two steals in 36 minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Probable for Saturday
Davis (groin/hip) is probable for Saturday's game against the Rockets, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNetreports. No surprise here, as Davis has been carrying this same probable tag for weeks. In his last two appearances, Davis was hot with averages of 29.5 points, 15.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 steals.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Scores 31 points in defeat
Davis ended with 31 points (11-18 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 9-10 FT), 14 rebounds, two assists and two steals across 36 minutes during Thursday's 133-110 loss to the Thunder. Davis has settled into a role as the Lakers' main scoring weapon regularly, and he delivered another strong showing here, but his efforts were not enough to lift the Lakers to victory. Despite the team's overall struggles, Davis continues to produce and has delivered elite value across the board in fantasy. Over his last five games, he's averaging 23.6 points, 13.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.6 blocks and 1.4 steals per game.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Available Thursday
Davis (groin/hip) will play Thursday against the Thunder, Brandon Rahbar of DailyThunder.com reports. As expected due to his initial probable tag, Davis will suit up despite some hip soreness. He's coming off a strong performance against the Pistons in a blowout win and now faces one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Expected to suit up Thursday
Davis (groin/hip) is listed as probable for Thursday's game versus the Thunder. Despite dealing with nagging hip and groin injuries, Davis has missed just one game so far this season. The star center has also avoided any minutes restrictions, averaging 33.5 minutes across his last 10 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Big double-double in Detroit
Davis totaled 28 points (9-15 FG, 10-13 FT), 16 rebounds, four assists, three blocks and one steal over 29 minutes during Wednesday's 133-107 win over the Pistons. It was the seventh straight double-double for Davis and his 15th in 18 games. Perhaps the most encouraging thing about the 30-year-old's start to the season has been that he's stayed mostly healthy -- Davis hasn't played more than 62 games in a season since 2017-18, but he's missed only one contest so far in 2023-24. During his double-double streak, he's averaging 22.3 points, 13.3 boards, 3.1 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.7 steals while shooting 58.9 percent from the floor.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Cleared to play
Davis (groin/hip) is available for Wednesday's game against the Pistons, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports. Davis, LeBron James (calf) and Cam Reddish (groin) will all be available, so the Lakers should trot out their preferred starting lineup for the first time since Nov. 21. Despite consistently being listed on the injury report, Davis has been stellar over the Lakers' last 10 games, averaging 20.4 points, 12.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.5 blocks and 1.1 steals in 34.2 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Listed probable again
Davis (groin/hip) is probable for Wednesday's game versus the Pistons. Despite Davis and LeBron James (calf) consistently receiving injury tags, the star duo have each missed just one game this season. Davis has played in both legs in all three of the Lakers' back-to-backs this season without a minutes restriction.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Good to go
Davis (hip) is available for Monday's matchup against the 76ers, Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports. As expected, Davis has been upgraded from probable to available and will play in a 10th straight game. During that stretch, he's averaged 20.8 points, 12.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2.7 blocks and 1.1 steals in 34.4 minutes per contest.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Probable for Monday
Davis (hip) is probable for Monday's game against Philadelphia. Davis missed a game Nov. 8 due to the left hip/adductor spasms, but he's been able to start the Lakers' last nine contests while averaging 20.8 points, 12.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2.7 blocks and 1.1 steals in 34.4 minutes per contest. Expect Davis to once again play through the issue Monday while taking on a normal minutes load.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Tallies season-high 32 points
Davis ended with 32 points (13-20 FG, 6-7 FT), 13 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two steals in 38 minutes during Saturday's 121-115 win over the Cavaliers. Davis did his best work in the second half, scoring 23 points to help lead the Lakers to a win in a game that was close throughout. The scoring output was a nice bounce-back effort by the star big man after he recorded just 10 points versus Dallas in his previous contest. Davis also got back into the groove as a shot blocker, swatting three shots Saturday after he had posted just two blocks over his previous three games combined. He still leads the NBA with 2.9 blocks per game on the campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Available to play Saturday
Davis (hip) will play Saturday against the Cavaliers, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports. As expected, Davis will suit up on the road against the Cavaliers. Davis has been outstanding of late and has recorded a double-double in each of his last four appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Likely Saturday
Davis is listed as probable for Saturday's contest in Cleveland due to hip spasms, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports. Davis has routinely been given this designation while he continues to battle a hip issue, but he has been playing through it. He appears to be trending toward a similar result Saturday, but final confirmation on his availability is unlikely to come until closer to Saturday's tipoff.... See More ... See Less -
Lakers' Anthony Davis: Records quiet double-double
Davis finished with 10 points (4-10 FG, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 104-101 loss to the Mavericks. Davis was his usual effective self on the boards, but his offensive performance was below his usual standards. The big man finished with just 10 points overall and was held scoreless in the fourth quarter despite the fact that the Lakers put up 30 points and stormed back from a big deficit in the period. Though Davis has been solid overall this season, he has had some offensive clunkers -- in addition to Wednesday's subpar outing, he's scored just nine points in a contest on two occasions. Fantasy managers shouldn't fret given Davis' consistency as a rebounder and shot-blocker as well as his overall body of work offensively, but there may be reason to wonder if the left adductor and hip spasms he's been dealing with impacted his scoring output to some extent in Wednesday's loss....
