Dellandrea has played in nine of the Stars' last 18 games.

Dellandrea got a decent run of playing time when the team was missing forwards at various points in November, but he's now sat out four of the last six games. With Sam Steel playing better, Dellandrea's best path to getting in the lineup is to leap over Evgenii Dadonov or Craig Smith on the depth chart. Dellandrea has managed just one assist, 12 shots on net, 21 hits and a minus-5 rating through 14 appearances this season.

Steel notched an assist in Thursday's 5-4 shootout win over the Capitals.

Steel has five points this season, three of which have come over his last four games. The 25-year-old remains in a fourth-line role, but he's earning more trust from head coach Pete DeBoer with the strong play. Steel has added 25 shots on net, 10 PIM and a minus-1 rating over 20 appearances. If his offense stays warm, Steel should maintain his place in the lineup over Ty Dellandrea.

Duchene notched an assist and three shots on goal in Thursday's 5-4 shootout win over the Capitals.

Duchene played in his 1,000th NHL game Thursday and celebrated the occasion by setting up Mason Marchment's second-period tally. In his career, Duchene has has been solid on offense with 764 points (322 goals, 442 assists). The 32-year-old center has three helpers over his last two games and is now up to 20 points, 54 shots on net and a plus-5 rating through 24 contests in his first year with the Stars.

Pavelski logged an assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 5-4 shootout win over the Capitals.

Pavelski has often had his ice time managed this season, but he led the Stars with 18:19 in this contest. The 39-year-old helped out on the second of Roope Hintz's game-tying goals in the third period to end a brief two-game funk. Pavelski hasn't endured a three-game slump since February. He's up to 11 goals, 14 helpers, 59 shots on net, 24 hits, 22 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 25 appearances in 2023-24.

Seguin scored a goal on three shots in Thursday's 5-4 shootout win over the Capitals.

Seguin tied the game at 1-1 on a feed from Sam Steel in the first period. After an injury scare Wednesday, Seguin was able to play 17:05 in Thursday's contest, in line with his usual second-line duties. The 31-year-old forward has four points over his last six outings, and he's up to nine goals, nine assists, 51 shots on net, 20 hits and a plus-5 rating through 25 games this season.

Wennberg provided an assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Devils.

Wennberg set up Tye Kartye's second-period tally. With three goals and five assists over his last 12 contests, Wennberg is playing some steady hockey despite the Kraken's overall struggles as a team. The center is up to 11 points, 42 shots on net, 24 blocked shots, 10 PIM and an even plus-minus rating through 27 outings this season.

Benn posted a power-play assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 5-4 shootout win over the Capitals.

Benn took a shot toward the net that clipped off Roope Hintz and found its way over the goal line. Benn hasn't been on the scoresheet in consecutive games since Nov. 18-20. The 34-year-old is still providing solid offense in a middle-six role with five goals, 13 helpers, 41 shots on net and a plus-2 rating through 25 outings. He's added 17 PIM, 23 hits and 19 blocked shots to supply some of his usual physicality.

Robertson logged two assists, including one on the power play, two hits and three blocked shots in Thursday's 5-4 shootout win over the Capitals.

Robertson helped out on both of Roope Hintz's third-period markers. The 24-year-old Robertson also had the only shootout tally to help secure the win in a game the Stars never led. The winger had endured his first multi-game point drought since he started the year with a pair of scoreless outings, but that's over with his two assists. Robertson has 24 points, 62 shots on net, 14 hits and a minus-4 rating through 25 contests overall.

Marchment scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 5-4 shootout win over the Capitals.

Marchment has found a groove on the Stars' second line, tallying five goals and adding three assists over his last six games. The winger's goal in the second period kept the Stars within striking distance in this contest. Marchment is up to 18 points, 52 shots on net, 30 PIM, 21 hits and a plus-7 rating through 25 outings overall. He's helped to strengthen Dallas' depth while finding great chemistry with Tyler Seguin and Matt Duchene.

Burakovsky logged an assist in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Devils.

Burakovsky returned from an upper-body injury for this game, though he left in the second period with seemingly another issue. He was back for the third but finished the contest with just 9:08 of ice time. Another injury is the last thing the 28-year-old needs after missing six weeks this season and the last three months of 2022-23. He's managed three assists, 15 shots on net and a minus-2 rating over seven appearances on the year.

Kartye scored a goal on four shots and added three hits in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Devils.

Kartye tallied at 7:12 of the second period to tie the game at 1-1, but the Devils took the lead back less than two minutes later. With four points over his last six games -- all losses for the Kraken -- Kartye has been one of the team's few steady forwards lately. They've scored a total of 10 goals in that span. Kartye is up to five tallies, four assists, 53 shots on net, 53 hits and 25 PIM across 26 outings as a burgeoning power forward.

Bratt logged an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Kraken.

Bratt has two goals and two assists over his last three contests. He set up Simon Nemec's second-period tally Thursday, which stood as the game-winner. Bratt is up to 10 goals, 19 helpers, 59 shots on net, 19 hits and a minus-2 rating through 24 contests. He remains a strong scoring winger in a top-six role, and he's also been great on the power play, earning 16 of his 29 points with the man advantage.

Hanley has played in seven of the Stars' last 15 games.

Hanley sat out the first 10 contests of the season, but he's since found a more regular path to playing time. He filled in when Thomas Harley was hurt, and Hanley has now started to push the struggling Nils Lundkvist for the last spot in the lineup with the Stars at virtually full health. Hanley has no points with seven hits, six blocked shots, two shots on goal and a minus-1 rating over seven appearances, so he's still not likely to be much of an asset for fantasy managers.

Heiskanen provided an assist, fired three shots on goal, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Thursday's 5-4 shootout win over the Capitals.

Heiskanen helped out on Tyler Seguin's first-period marker. With four assists over his last five outings, Heiskanen is starting to get his offense back to the level that's expected of one of the best young blueliners in the league. The 24-year-old is at 16 points, 52 shots on net, 42 blocked shots, 21 hits and a minus-6 rating through 25 games this season. He's averaging 25:18 of ice time per game, including 2:58 on the power play, so he should have plenty of chances to be a positive contributor.

Siegenthaler logged an assist in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Kraken.

Siegenthaler has a helper in each of the last two games. He had three assists in the season opener, but he's only been able to match that over the next 23 contests as a more defensive presence in a top-four role. The Swiss blueliner has added 26 shots on net, 28 hits, 41 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating. Siegenthaler should continue to see big minutes, but he's unlikely to reach lofty point totals.

Marino logged an assist and blocked two shots in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Kraken.

Marino snapped a nine-game point drought with the primary helper on Ondrej Palat's first-period goal. While Marino was solid over the first month of the campaign, consistent offense is not his calling card. The 26-year-old defenseman is up to 11 points, 18 shots on net, 31 blocked shots, 10 PIM and an even plus-minus rating. It'll take all of the Devils' blueliners to make up for the absence of Dougie Hamilton (pectoral), and Marino is likely to make his impact felt more in the defensive zone.

Nemec scored a goal and blocked two shots in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Kraken.

Nemec has stepped right into a top-four role for the Devils. He checked off another milestone Thursday was his first NHL tally, which was also the game-winning goal. He's racked up three points, five shots on net, three blocked shots and a minus-2 rating through his first three appearances. Nemec looks like he belongs in the NHL, and with Dougie Hamilton (pectoral) out long term, the Devils will be leaning on their youth on the blue line to stay competitive in the Metropolitan Division.

Myers recorded an assist and two blocked shots in Thursday's 2-0 win over the Wild.

Myers has not been negatively impacted by the arrival of Nikita Zadorov -- the two have been paired together so far. Myers has two assists over three games since the trade occurred. The 33-year-old Myers is up to 13 points, 27 shots on net, 39 hits, 47 blocked shots, 24 PIM and a plus-11 rating through 27 contests overall. He's on his best scoring pace in the last five years.

Grubauer stopped 15 of 17 shots in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Devils.

The Kraken threw 38 pucks at Akira Schmid in the other net, but they only gave Grubauer one goal of support. This was Grubauer's fourth loss in a row -- he's been responsible for two-thirds of the team's current losing streak. The 32-year-old has yet to give up fewer than two goals in an outing this season, yielding a pair of tallies in four of his 16 appearances. He's also yet to give up more than four goals in any game. Grubauer is at a 3.26 GAA and an .883 save percentage with a 5-9-1 record.

Schmid stopped 37 of 38 shots in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Kraken.

Schmid had to be sharp as the Devils nursed a one-goal lead for all of the third period. He was up to the task, keeping the Kraken at bay despite a ton of pressure on the Devils' defense. Schmid has won three of his last four outings despite allowing nine goals in that span. He's at a 4-5-1 record with a 3.03 GAA and a .902 save percentage through 11 games after this strong start. The Devils' next two games are in a back-to-back at Calgary on Saturday and Edmonton Sunday, so both Schmid and Vitek Vanecek should get a chance to play over the weekend.

DeSmith recorded a 26-save shutout in Thursday's 2-0 win over the Wild.

DeSmith was busy in this contest, but he held the fort and got just enough support from his teammates. This was DeSmith's first shutout as a Canuck and the 10th of his career. The 32-year-old netminder hasn't seen a lot of action lately, playing just five times since the start of November. He's at a 5-2-1 record with a 2.69 GAA and a .913 save percentage through nine appearances. DeSmith has been solid when he plays, and he may rotate in more often to keep Thatcher Demko fresh.

Gustavsson gave up two goals on 17 shots in Thursday's 2-0 loss to the Canucks.

Gustavsson's three-game winning streak came to an end when the Wild were shut out for the first time this season. He's allowed just six goals over his last four starts, but he wasn't that good in a game where the Canucks struggled for large stretches while getting a couple of bounces to go their way. Gustavsson is now 5-7-2 with a 3.26 GAA and an .894 save percentage over 15 games this season. Marc-Andre Fleury will start in Edmonton on Friday, but it wouldn't be surprising to see Gustavsson get the road-trip finale Sunday in Seattle.

Jones was thrust into duty Thursday when started Joseph Woll had to be helped off the ice in the third period. He made nine saves in relief.

It was his first action as a Leaf. Jones delivered a 27-13-3 record in Seattle last season, but he did it on the back of a 2.99 GAA and .887 save percentage. The Brick Woll is headed for an MRI and some significant time out, so Jones is about to get the test of his career as a platoon-mate with Ilya Samsonov (illness). Snap him up, but use caution. Jones hasn't put up a save percentage over .900 since 2017-18.

Forsberg made 18 saves Thursday in a 4-3 loss to Toronto.

Forsberg has been the better Sens goalie of late. This was a solid start for the netminder, but an extra save here and there would have been the difference between the W and the L. Watch for Forsberg to earn a bit more time than so-called starter Joonas Korpisalo.
